Upcoming trips and events

The last Thursday evening photo class at the Grand starts next week, April 11th, running for 5 weeks.

It is a merged Intermediate and Advanced focus. We will look at a number of "beyond Beginning" concepts and issues. Participants will also list their own interests, whether "problem" areas - lighting, composing, applied techniques - or specific things they will want to have addressed.

In the just concluded Beginning-Intermediate class we had hands-on exposure/lighting/Q&A photoshoots with a live subject, a still life session in the ceramics lab, and a night wet-pavement opportunity (that I have been waiting to occur during a late fall-winter-early spring Thursday evening class for years!). The class ahead will have similar unique sessions arranged.

After this class, the next Thursday classes won't occur until the Fall semester in September. The summer session will be the only Saturday offering for a Beginning class, and the semester isn't long enough for anything beyond Beginning.
